Mabry Iron Foundry acquired by Advanced Metals Group

In an effort to diversify its already significant presence in the aluminum casting industry, Advanced Metals Group of Malvern, PA acquired the business and assets of Mabry Iron Foundry, of Beaumont, Texas, from Citation Corporation.

Mabry offers both green sand and no bake molding capabilities to the oil and gas, waterworks, agriculture, marine, automotive aftermarket, construction and equipment, machine tool and mining industries. It’s Hunter 32, Hunter 20 and air set lines can produce grey and ductile iron castings weighing anywhere from 1lb to 3,800lbs.

The specifics of the transaction were not announced.
