Advanced Metals Group Acquires U.S. Aluminum Castings from Pacific Aerospace

In a move designed to diversify its production and marketing capabilities, Advanced Metals Group acquired the business and assets for US Castings from Pacific Aerospace, Inc., a publicly traded entity. US Aluminum Castings had the ability to produce green-sand, lost-foam, permanent-mold and no-bake castings, on a just-in-time basis for the aviation, aerospace, military, and marine markets and after-markets.

When asked to comment, AMG management indicated that the acquisition added “Lost Foam and Green Sand capabilities” to Oberdorfer’s already existing permanent mold and no-bake molding lines. The acquisition also allowed each AMG facility to offer customers full service machining, coating and assembly.
